Popular Native doctor commits suicide in Enugu

The Police in Enugu State say investigation into the suicide committed by late Uzochukwu Princewill has commenced.

The deceased, who is said to be a renowned traditional medicine practitioner was found dead in his shop at the 9th Mile Corner, Enugu.

The native doctor’s lifeless body was found hanging on a rope, and tied to a ceiling fan hook inside his shop.
Police spokesman in the state, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu who confirmed the incident said a thorough investigation was on-going to determine the true “cause of the incident”.

He added that the body of the deceased had been deposited at Our Saviour Hospital Mortuary, 9thmile Corner, Ngwo for post mortem examination.
