Romania’s ‘king of gypsy music’ attacked his pregnant girlfriend live on TV after discovering she slept with his step-son.These shocking scenes show millionaire singer Nicolae Guta attempt to throttle girlfriend Iulia after step-son Nicu revealed their torrid affair.

Nicu, whose mother Narcisa Guta was in a relationship with Nicolae before he cheated with Iulia, told the TV audience he had a fling with pole dancer Iulia because of the way his step father treated his mother while they were in a relationship.

In violent scenes millionaire singer Nicolae, who is huge star in his native Romania, grabs his pregnant girlfriend by the neck after she refuses to deny the fling.

He turns to Nicu: “Are you saying you had anything to do with this woman [his girlfriend]?”

When Nicu replied “yes, I did”, the singer, who himself has had a string of high-profile affairs, started beating Iulia, calling her “a s***”.

He said: “You mocked my mom, I showed you. Iulia liked me, told me to stop by her place and that was it. What can I say?”

Bodyguards were forced to intervene before a shaken Iulia staggers off stage.

Iulia, who sat next to her boyfriend when both were guests on a late-night TV chat show along with another of his former partners, Narcisa Guta. She brought her son Nicu, with her, who was Nicolae’s stepson.

The affair happened when the singer was living with ex girlfriend, Flori, who was pregnant with his 11th child.

The relationship with Flori ended, however, when Nicolae cheated on her with Iulia and a s3x tape showing the two was leaked. Flori went on to have an abortion, which devastated the singer – known for pioneering a style of music called manele.

He said at the time: ‘This is the biggest punishment I could have ever received.
