Nollywood Actress Halima Abubakar took a bold step to the menace cancer to shaved her hair for a Cancer Awareness scheduled to hold later this year.

Halima shaved her hair with the aim of raising awareness for cancer in conjunction with MTN and Wow Diva organization.

Fans and Colleagues who saw her at the recent Best of Nollywood awards wondered why she had her hair off. She later explained the reason behind it via twitter. Some months back, she donated some amount of money to help a breast cancer patient, Debby Osarere.

She is not the only celebrity supporting this cause. MI Abaga, Faze, Weird Mc and other celebrities had a Zumbathon, an event to create more awareness about Cancer.
